Laguna Coast Capital is a long-term investment partner for a limited number of accomplished individuals, families and their wealth planning vehicles. We develop durable family office strategies for the next 3 generations with the goal of particularly outperforming during range bound and falling markets - when our returns are more valuable to our clients.

With years of experience at a global Swiss bank we are an objective second opinion when you consider investment deals, need someone to brainstorm with or have general planning questions and want an independent extra set of eyes.

We like the days when markets are down and implied volatility is high which is the opposite of most investment strategies.

We are based in sunny Newport Beach, California but can work with most types of global investors.

When Drew and his family relocated from Hong Kong back to California Drew created Laguna Coast Capital to manage his own money in partnership with select long-term investors.

Previously, Drew built and was the corporate Director and regulatory Responsible Officer running the Asia business for a major derivative focused asset management company. During this time Drew created the first ETF structure that allowed global investors to short the China on-shore stock market. Drew has over 25 years experience with equity derivative products including managing part of the Asia equity derivatives desk at a global Swiss investment bank.

Drew holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS Engineering with Honors from Stanford University. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Drew is married with four crazy children whom he chauffeurs around the OC in a silver minivan full of Cheerios.
